Taking the following actions can help your home appear more appealing to prospective buyers.

Curb Appeal
  • Lawn should be freshly cut and in good condition
  • Shrubs should be neatly trimmed
  • Yard should be in overall neat appearance, free of leaves and debris
  • Fences should be in good repair
  • Flowers should be planted or snow removed

  • Your home should be painted and repaired
  • Doors should open and close easily and silently
  • Doorbells should be operating


  • Living Room
  • The room should have a clean and ordered appearance
  • Walls should be freshly painted and clean
  • Carpeting should be vacuumed and free of litter, toys, etc.
  • Curtains should be clean and in good condition
  • Let light stream into the room on sunny days
