Taking the following actions can help your home appear more appealing to prospective buyers.
Curb Appeal
Lawn should be freshly cut and in good condition
Shrubs should be neatly trimmed
Yard should be in overall neat appearance, free of leaves and debris
Fences should be in good repair
Flowers should be planted or snow removed
Home exterior
Your home should be painted and repaired
Doors should open and close easily and silently
Doorbells should be operating
Living Room
The room should have a clean and ordered appearance
Walls should be freshly painted and clean
Carpeting should be vacuumed and free of litter, toys, etc.
Curtains should be clean and in good condition
Let light stream into the room on sunny days
Kitchen
Range and oven should be spotless
Sink should be clear of dishes
Cupboards should be neat
